The park covers 320,000 square meters and comprises of four differently themed continents with four natural elements.
1500 animals from 200 different species, 50 of which are in danger of extinction, can be seen with a totally unimpeded view in surroundings which recreate their original habitat.
2500 trees, bushes and covering plants from more than 160 of the most representative species from these regions.
Terra Natura is split into 4 areas :
Pangea - Fire
A land of astonishing dimensions and colour with sculpted mineral silhouettes, curious traces of the intense natural heartbeat that one day erupted through the surface of the Earth creating the volcano around which local life goes on.
America - Air
America will fascinate you the magical aura that surrounds it. Each corner of this continent, every new experience, is full of intense contrasts. A great variety of landscapes, from thick virgin forests to majestic Mayan ruins, where the beauty of nature appears in a whole array of different shapes and sizes. The natives will make you feel that their customs, rites and traditions have become yours too.
Asia - Earth
The forest opens up on the way to a logging camp, transporting the visitors to a hidden, exotic corner: quaint inns and huts scattered between tall palm trees create a tranquil atmosphere interrupted only by the trumpeting of the elephants.
Europa - Water
The Greek village of Kalicameni perched on the top of a cliff. Its beach, promenade and its tall, thin lighthouse a re a prelude to our sea, Mare Nostrum, which has drawn together the different cultures that were formed around its shores.
